Blue is approximately 5 years old. He is super sweet and affectionate. He has typical Husky behaviors but is more mellow than the youngsters. He is a re-home due to the inability of his previous family to provide him with the life he deserves. Blue would be an excellent companion for someone with an active lifestyle. He has nipped people before who have grabbed him and for this reason, we suggest adults only.
His foster is located in Angels Camp, CA, and will drive up to 2 hours to have a meet-n-greet. Then if you want, you can take him home for a trial adoption (1-30 days). If you decide you’d like to make it permanent, we then do the contract and fees. If at any time after this, you decide you cannot keep him, his foster will take him back but there will be no refund.
Please do your research on Huskies beforehand as this breed is unlike others. We cannot guarantee any dog’s behavior after adoption. Remember that many of these dogs have experienced abuse and it takes time for them to feel safe and bond with you (some, not all). In many cases we do not have a prior history.
