Kate’s Rescue for Animals works with many potential adopters but if we had to pick our favorites, we would choose the “repeat offenders”.

One of these “repeat offenders” is the Hardt family. They adopted Bailey and instantly fell in love with his playful personality. Bailey quickly made friends with his new fur sibling Kona, but Kona had a hard time matching Bailey’s energetic spirit. So, the Hardt family again turned to Kate’s Rescue with the hope of finding Bailey a playmate that could keep up with him.

Logan was the perfect fit. According to the family, “Logan is a ball of energy that doesn’t stop playing.” Bailey and Logan are the perfect playmates. When asked why they picked rescue as a way of adding to their family they explained, “We’ve looked at buying purebreds before, but our heart is really for those animals that maybe don’t have a place to live or didn’t fit the house they were a part of prior.” What a perfect sentiment!

The Hardt family wants anyone considering adopting with Kate’s Rescue to know that they love their dogs very much. According to them the process of adoption was as easy as could be, “The transition couldn’t be easier. We so appreciate everything this rescue does.”

Thank you Hardt family, we appreciate you more then you know! It’s because of awesome families like yours that we can continue with our mission of helping dogs in need.

Also a great thing about rescues is that they often times know more about the dog’s behavior and personality because it’s been in their’ foster system. This is a huge benefit for the potential adopter and also a big part of making the right placement for the right dog…..
